Title: Scholar/Seer
Homeland: Lelios
Family:Father, Doram

Physical Description: Ceri is of average height, standing at a rough five feet, six inches and walking with an awkward gait. Her frame is thin, accented by a prominent bone structure and long limbs. Her hands are childlike in comparison, with rather short fingers and shorter nails. Her legs own rather knobby-looking knees, and end in small feet.
Ceri's face is pointed, with high cheekbones, thin brows, and a slender nose. Her lips are wide and rather pale, sitting above a pointed chin.
Her eyes are a dark blue, with a slight slant to them.
Personality: Ceri is generally not a people-person. She prefers solitude over society, and in most cases, can come off sounding much harsher than intended.
She prides herself in her skills of comprehension and composition, and has a tendency to correct others' mistakes, though rarely offers herself up for tutoring.
While Ceri does not have much of a competitive streak, she can never pass up a game of cards or chess and is usually much more at ease when playing such things.
Deathly afraid of infirmaries, she would rather "tough it out" than see a physician, much to the chagrin of those that care about her.
When at work within the Spirate archives, Ceri is quick-witted and able to adjust to new situations with ease. Once left to her own devices without a cause to rally behind, however, she quickly reverts back to the rather awkward-tongued bookworm.
Though not shy, Ceri tends to put her foot in her mouth when speaking at length, or when uneasy.
She has a high disdain for bullying, and if irritated enough, will argue herself past reason.
History: Ceri was born the first daughter to a guardsman and his home-maker wife. From a young age, she devoted herself to following in her father's footsteps. Dreaming of becoming the first lady knight of Lelios, she was dutiful in her studies in swordmanship and riding. This ended when she was ten, thrown from a bucking horse in the middle of a practice joust, the mare spooked by a rock thrown at her flank by a spectator. While she managed not to fall so as to injure the beast with lance, Ceri took the brunt of the injury and snapped her right shin.
Ceri began her new life of hermitage then, taking to reading while she recovered over the following months. Eventually, she was able to walk again, though with an odd gait. Her intended future of knighthood seemed completely lost to her, as her father banned her from continuing her training.
Finding solace in her new passion, she took to learning the linguistic arts and eventually found an apprenticeship within the Order of Spira.
For years following, she had spent her time cataloging and sorting through the many tomes and rolls that never seemed to stop coming in from other lands. Her life was set in books and learning. Eventually, she became a well-liked figure within the king's court in Lelios, as one of his prized historians.
Until the eve of the new year, when strange nightmares of things yet to come began to plague her sleep. Troubled by the visions of her homeland in flames, she soon grew aware that other aspects of her dreams had started to come true. Urged by the fear of what else might come to pass should she remain silent, she brought the prophetic visions to her king, and was cast out as a heretic; no man, woman, or child had had such abilities since the dawn of the nation, and who was she but a crippled, bookish girl, telling the king what he must do?
Ceri, without a home or coin to her name, went forth to Analon, in the hopes that she might be able to change the course of history. Nightmares were never meant to come true.
